Shade by Simon Heijdens from Dezeen on Vimeo.

During a short trip visiting Chicago, I found a interesting installation in Art Institute of Chicago. Shade, created by Simon Heijdens, is an interactive installation using wind current as signals to create the lights and shadows. It could be termed as artificial indoor nature.

This is one of the four temporary, manmade waterfalls established as part of 2008 NYC Waterfall project. Looks extravagant when considering how much water resources were used.
